Setting up your folio for parent/teacher/student interviews. . .
Go to wikispaces.com and log in.
Then click on "create a new wiki".
Wiki name must include your first name (and 2nd initial if you have the same first name as someone else), folio and mgps. Eg: jodiefoliomgps
Permissions: click on "protected"
Wiki type: "k-12 education"
Then click on "create".
Throughout Term 2 we will be adding work samples and comments in readiness for our Parent/Teacher/Student Interviews in June.
The pages you MUST have on are: Personal Profile - several paragraphs about YOU!!
Reading - Paragraphs about: Premiers Reading Challenge, Class serials, Books you've read so far and those that interest you; how much your reading has progressed (reading level if you wish to) (what you do well with your reading and something you need to improve on for next semester), Guided Reading and Shared Reading; favourite author/s or book/s. Writing - paragraphs about what you have done in writing, what you do well and what you need to keep working on. 3 samples of writing uploaded. Speaking & Listening - paragraph of what you did in movie maker. Upload movie maker file of your soldier letter. Number - 1 paragraph about 4 operations and 1 paragraph about times tables. Mention what you can do well in these areas and what you need to improve on/extend on. Upload a photo of test cricket and a photo of pizza maths and a paragraph of what you did for these activities. Maths Investigations - 3 paragraphs (cubes, 3D city and 3D house). Upload 3D city pdf and photos of house views and 3D house model, and a paragraph for an explanation. Upload photo of your choc box - and a paragraph of what you did. ICT - list 3 programs you like to use and how you have used them. Also, upload your Publisher version of "From Little Things, Big Things Grow" that used paint.net. Integrated Studies - significant Australia paragraph and photo of your poster. Upload the file of your Australian Flag. Classroom Activities - minimum 3 paragraphs of things you do within the classroom and school community.
